City Councils Waitakere City Council
2006
Council's Head Office functions (700+ staff) relocated from eight separate locations into the new Civic Centre. The move included all existing furniture and a substantial holding of records.

2009-2010
B&W were contracted to project manage the relocation of approximately 1200 staff into the new Civic Centre in August/September 2010. Part way through the 6 week relocation project, the Christchurch earthquake occurred which resulted in the need to undertake an additional (approximate) 500 relocations under extreme circumstances and within a very short time. It was imperative to get the Council up and running in temporary accommodation in order that they could support the City.
2011-2012
  B&W continue to manage relocations for the Council. Full re-occupation of the Hereford Street building by all 1200 staff will be complete mid March 2012.

2009-current
B&W were appointed Accommodation Project Managers for the Auckland Council (initially through the Auckland Transition Agency). After undertaking initial detailed audits and macro planning in late 2009 and the beginning of 2010, approximately 2500 Council staff were relocated between September and Christmas 2010 between existing Council buildings spread from Pukekohe to Orewa. The relocations have been large and complex due to the multiple pick-up and destination sites for each move. The project continues into 2012 and at January 2012 approximately 4000 staff have been relocated.

Relocation of 700+ staff into the new Defence Force Headquarters.

Project management for the "go live" of refurbished courts and the internal relocation of staff.

Logistics Project Managers for the exit of all collections and approximately 320 staff from the National Library. The collections have largely been placed into storage with the staff relocated to decanting locations. Return to the Library of Collections is underway and staff and collectons will be in their new locations mid 2012.

In 2010 approximately 3500 staff were relocated from 8 or more Auckland CBD locations into the new Telecom Place, including the consolidation of staff into existing buildings.

In 2011 B&W managed the relocation of approximately 2000 staff from Wellington CBD locations into the new Willis Street location, following quickly by a fast track project to relocate approximately 1500 staff within Telecom Place ... over one weekend!

Relocation of collections of irreplaceable rocks, fossils and moa bones from the City Campus to a warehouse. The move included the relocation of significant amounts of shelving.

The relocation of approximately 200 Faculty of Arts staff from various locations into the refurbished Commerce C building. The move included the relocation of large amounts of furniture and an extensive visual resources library.

Relocation of groups, including a Pharmacy from the Grafton Campus (Medical School) to decanting locations in and around the Auckland University Campus.
