Pamela Kirkland
Director
Pamela has been a key member of the B&W team since 2010, delivering complex workplace transitions for major organisations across New Zealand.
Early in her career, she led the relocation of hundreds of Auckland City Council staff—a client relationship that continues today. Her experience spans a wide range of relocation projects, from standard office moves to the coordination of specialised scientific equipment and the handling of unique collections such as visual archives, libraries, geological specimens, fossils, and moa bones.
She has also managed relocations into PC1 and PC2 laboratory environments, ensuring compliance and operational continuity. Alongside relocation management, Pamela brings strong capability in facility readiness, fitout coordination, and integrating furniture and building services to support seamless occupation.
She has delivered successful projects for clients including 2degrees, Oceania Healthcare, Mercury Energy, Harrison Grierson, Kiwibank, Spark, NZ Police, ACG, Jarden Bank, Massey University, and the Heart Group.
Julia Beecroft
Director
Julia has a Bachelor of Property (BProp) and her experience includes delivering an interior fit out that achieved a minimum 4-star Green Star Interior fitout rating.
In addition, Julia’s has recently been integral in the delivery of the largest office refurbishment project in New Zealand – an 18-floor refurbishment and fitout project in a live environment.
Since joining B&W over 15 years ago, Julia has worked with Fidelity Life, BNZ, Datacom, Spark, Auckland Council, Fonterra, Stuff, Vynco, University of Auckland and Telegistics.
Julia’s experience has extended to assisting clients with occupancy analysis and building stack plans; stakeholder engagement and change management as well as soft fit-out management.
Robyn Richards
Consultant and Healthcare Specialist
“B&W stands for Black and White – meaning it’s either planned for or it’s not! Robyn knows that there is no grey or room for error when it comes to complex relocations.
Robyn has been managing large and challenging relocations projects for more than 20 years and was the founder of B&W in 2004 before selling the business to Pamela and Julia in 2026.
Whilst her speciality is relocating healthcare facilities, which began with the planning and implementation of staff, approximately 400 patients and clinical and non-clinical services at Auckland, Green Lane and National Women’s Hospitals, Robyn has worked with a wide ranging variety of organisations in New Zealand and Australia.
Robyn remains actively involved in B&W Consulting providing mentoring and support to Pamela, Julia and the team. Her reputation and knowledge in a vast range of industries underpins the ongoing success of the company.
Lisa Rutherford
Lisa has planned and managed relocations since joining B&W in 2010
One of her most complex projects was the return of Collections and staff to the refurbished National Library of New Zealand (Wellington).
This project was possibly the largest volume move ever undertaken in New Zealand and was hugely complex, requiring incredible attention to detail to meet the client’s exacting standards and to ensure the protection of the priceless collections.
Lisa has also managed relocations for:
Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty (BOPDHB), NIWA, Waikato Regional Council, IRD, Spark, Stuff, Trustpower, Zespri, BNZ, Chorus, and Tauranga City Council.
Kim Boyce
Kim joined the B&W Team in September 2013 primarily to manage the return of BNZ to Harbour Quays in Wellington.
Kim has managed moves, often including the management of soft fit and/or Exit of vacated buildings for: BNZ, Spark, Kiwibank, AgResearch and Stuff.
Kim has also worked extensively for Government, playing an integral role in projects for: Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT), Ministry of Social Development, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, IRD and Ministry of Culture and Heritage.
Toni Makea
Toni has been part of the B&W Team since 2017.
Toni is B&W’s lead at the University of Auckland, planning and managing multiple moves including not only office relocations but scientific laboratories and other specialised spaces. Additional to Toni’s work with B&W she has experience planning and managing relocations in the clinical setting, having worked with Waitemata District Health Board during 2022.
Toni’s client list now includes: Tonkin + Taylor, Ministry of Justice, Health Research Council of NZ, NZ Police (Auckland Custody Unit), Auckland Council and Spark.
Andrea Geary
Andrea joined the B&W Team in August 2010
Since that time, Andrea has managed relocations for: Spark, Auckland Council, NZME, Fonterra, Stuff, Chorus, Fletcher Building, CCL and the Ministry of Justice.
Andrea’s role on the NZME project included the planning and management to relocate approximately 1000 staff (inclusive of the News Room and Radio Stations), in addition to playing a key role in the stacking (space planning) of the building.
Andrea has also managed complex space planning and the resultant moves within and between buildings for Spark
